Keeping Time

My midwestern self is deep into seasonal adaptation. It is suddenly cold in Ohio. I’ve pulled out the sweaters I stashed in the attic. I love the chance to bundle up.

My pastor brain is also undergoing another seasonal shift, as it’s the time I begin anticipating all the preparation and lead up to Christmas. Advent begins the last Sunday of November—it’s not that far away for those who are counting.
